This page describes the new features and improvements introduced in version 24.2:

Improvements & Changes Docu Performer (Documentation & Commenting):

• Support the setting “Document Data Flow” for other connectors (SAC, DSP & HANA) for cross-system documentation

• CDS Views: Fields added via an Extension CDS View are displayed as such, along with additional insights (Extension CDS View name, appended field, source table, and source field).

• Datasphere Intelligent Lookups: Documentation of the Input & Lookup Object and the defined rule

Improvements & Changes System Scout (Analysis):

• Display CDS Views and their data flow down to the source tables under the BW DataSources.

• Constant Value Scan:

  • Selection options for specifying object types in which the constant should be searched.

  • Reintroduction of characteristic input for the Query Selection Scan.

• Where-Used Analysis: Nested Usage of Classes in Process Chains

• New BW & S/4 feature to display CDS Views that have been extended via an Extension CDS View.

• Intelligent Lookup Dataflow: Display the Input and Lookup source objects

• New Role Setting: Hide the column “Query last run by” in Data Loads and Usages

• Analyze & Compare for Transports: New column “Change Date”
