Using Data Flow Views (DFVs) for InfoProvider documentation

For the documentation of InfoProvider, you can force the system to show a popup where you can choose a Data Flow View. So you can influence the content of the documentation.

The prerequisite is that in the InfoProvider settings the checkbox "Selection Transformations/Data Flow View" is activated.

Exclude DTPs from Documentation

DTPs that you do not want to be documented can be excluded from documentation. To do this, you need to list DTPs based on ADSOs or InfoProvider Characteristics. In the context menu select “Others > Show DTPs”

In the next window you will see the DTPs listed and in the column ““ you can mark those DTPs that you do not want to be considered during documentation.

This setting is also taken into account when a DTP is considered when exporting Scenarios. The DTP can be taken into account through a Transformation or when documenting the ADSO or Characteristic.
