The products of the Performer Suite can be started via the launcher.

User Login

Before a product can be started, a user registration is required. There are two different user types that can be selected to enter the Performer Suite:

1. Application User

2. SAP User

Application User

After the application is installed and licensed, a default user name and password are available, with full administrator permissions:

• User type: Application user

• User ID: Admin

• Password: The password was set during the initial configuration, after the first start of the application.

 Once logged in, the administrator has full system permissions and can define additional user profiles with their own specific permissions.

SAP User

The Performer Suite is designed for direct access with a valid SAP user.

So, users who have an SAP User-ID and password in the licensed SAP system can enter and use the application. The role "SAP User" will be automatically assigned to them.

 Initial restrictions for an “SAP User" login are:

• Can't change the local database connection (choose a different database than the one set for the application by the application administrator)

• Can't create or modify users or roles (to create new users, please log in with an application user that has the role "Full administrator" assigned, e.g., the standard user "Admin")

• Can only have access to the SAP system specified in the login window and only to its defined Scenarios

• If you want to provide different rights to the SAP user role, the authorizations of this special role can easily be changed by an administrator.

• In case you don't want to allow a login into the Performer Suite with an SAP Users, you can forbid this in Settings > User and Roles Desktop in the tab "Settings":

Usage and Diagnostic Data

After your first login, a window will appear in the Launcher with the following message:

You will have two options:

• Share: By clicking Share, you agree to allow the collection of the described usage data. This helps us to improve the Performer Suite based on real usage patterns.
  No personal data is collected.

• Don't Share: By clicking Don't Share, you decline the data collection. No usage data will be sent.

You can change your choice at any time later in your personal settings.

Product selection

After the user logs in, a product can be selected in the launcher to be started:

When selecting a product, only the starting point is defined - within the Performer Suite the other products can also be reached.

It can be selected if the product selection should be skipped. The option can also be deactivated again in the Personal user settings.
