List Data Sources of BO Reports

The "List Data Sources" function is very helpful if you want to get an overview of the data sources of your BO objects. The function supports the object types Lumira, Design Studio, Analysis for Office, and Web Intelligence and can be executed via the context menu in the Entity Grid or can be found in the System Scout:

This function makes it possible to quickly identify which BW Query, InfoProviders, or CDS View is the basis of a BO object. First, a BO system and an object type must be selected:

Cross-object type analyses of multiple objects are also possible!

After the objects have been selected, they can be analyzed via "Start Analysis".  The results are initially categorized as...

• "REP" (BW Queries)

• "HCPR"(HANA Composite Provider)

• "MPRO" (MultiProvider

• "DDLS" (S/4 CDS Views)

Besides the technical name & description of the data source objects, the Source System ID is displayed:
